A major international IT group is currently looking to recruit 2 resourcers for their growing team.

Our client is a major international group involved in emerging technology, leading edge IT technologies.

Overview

The role of the resourcer is to deliver qualified candidates against a role, provided by a consultant. These are either for submission by the consultant to a live vacancy, a speculative opportunity or inclusion a talent pool. Resources spent the majority of their time on the telephone speaking to candidates.

The resourcer has a consistent line manager who monitors performance, training support and workload. Candidates are supplied to 1 or more consultants on a role by role basis.

Once sufficient candidate control skills have been developed, the resourcer is the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the end to end process.

Key tasks & Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates using varied techniques including: – the database, networking, web-mining, CV stripping, referral techniques, reference networks, CV tanks and advertisements.
  • Qualify detailed job specification from the consultant. To research and query the required information until the point of understanding is reached and demonstrated.
  • Gather leads: verbal references, business lead, gather names and contact details of decision-makers through reference information.
  • Speak to candidates over the phone to capture detailed information in the form of a telephone interview. Screen, profile, qualify and reference check any suitable candidates and provide a short list to the consultant.
  • Promote the benefits of candidates to the consultant utilising verbal and written (cover sheet) selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a proactively close relationship with the candidate throughout the recruitment process, monitoring and checking commitment and communicate any changes to the consultant. Includes preparation, de-brief and when ready candidate offer management (under direct supervision)
  • Arranging diaries to facilitate the interview and selection process and sending out email confirmations.
