Futura is the first rec2rec company to use Key 103 in recruitment campaigns

Futura, the Northwest’s leading rec2rec company, is now utilising Manchester’s leading radio station, Key 103, as an integrated part of its advertising programmes.

While recruitment companies have used radio to advertise before, Futura is the first rec2rec company to advertise using Key 103 – Manchester’s leading, and best known, radio station.

“We’re finding Key 103 to be highly effective,” says Futura’s managing director John Whalley. “We’ve geared the campaign so that it’s really easy for people to find out more about the jobs we’re advertising. Each ad contains a phone number for people to text to – all they need to do is text the ID number of the job to get the job’s details sent instantly to their mobile phones.”

Futura is finding that the more traditional ways of approaching people are losing their effectiveness – and that new media, combined with innovative response mechanisms, provides greater results.

“This advertising method is working wonderfully for us – and our candidates love it,” says Whalley. “It’s very immediate and confidential – enabling us to get in touch with greater numbers of people much more quickly.”
