There are advantages to you brokering the deal – and once the client is aware of these, it is more likely that you will be asked to do so.
With you in the role brokering the deal, you should be able to get the best result for both the client and the candidate – cutting through some potentially uncomfortable negotiations.
Working in this way can make your services more essential – but you need to help with the more difficult things too, such as helping with the resignation.
