What do you need to subscribe to feeds?

To subscribe to feeds you need a piece of software called a news reader.

Most modern Web browsers, including current versions of Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Netscape and Opera can read feeds without the need to install additional software.

If you try to subscribe to feeds using an older browser (such as Internet Explorer 6) you may just see a page of gobbledygook. If this happens, you will need to either upgrade your browser to the current version (this is usually free) or acquire a news reader programme.
