Penalties, penalties, penalties
James Milner has now scored 4 penalties in the last 7 games making him Liverpool’s top scorer which in a team with as many goals as Liverpool have in them is some going. But is he worth buying and will Liverpool continue to win penalties?
Well at £6.6m and 4 goals and an assist in 7 games you’ve got to say that’s good value particularly when he’s only got a 3% ownership. But will the penalties keep getting awarded or has he used them all up by now? If we look back at the last 10 seasons, the rate of penalties awarded this season is more or less the same as the average. Last year, Liverpool were only awarded 2 and only scored 1 but the previous season they won 12 and scored 10 of them. With Klopp’s tactics and Liverpool’s skilful and tricky talent pool we think it’s a good bet that they’ll have a good penalties season.
Of course, this doesn’t just apply to Liverpool and there are lots of sites which can point you to the main penalty taker for all the clubs.

Manager of the Week
85 points is a great score indeed this week, but all of Glenn’s moons lined up this weekend. We’re City fans but there’s no way that we’d have any of our defenders in our FL team. Glenn went one better and put the hapless, but pen-saving Claudio Bravo in for 11 great points. Add that to 15 points from an Arsenal defender who scored an offside, handball goal and who got 3 bonus points in the process and you get our drift. Add in Chadli and Deeney for 19 points and you can see why we commented about the moons.
Did you win the lottery as well Glenn?

With 61 points in 56th place we’ve got Keith Sammons. Keith’s team wasn’t actually that good but 23 points from his defence and 24 from Captain Costa certainly helped along the way. We haven’t seen Keith on these pages for over a year.
Nice to have you back Keith.
The Best of the Rest
At 117th place with 63 points we find Poonam Nawani. With 36 points from his defence alone, Poonam has done brilliantly this week. Fer and Lukaku helped out as well which made up for his 6 points captain in Sanchez.
What a great week Poonam.
Why would 28% of us have John Stones in their team? He doesn’t get any goals and he never keeps a clean sheet and yet he’s the second favourite defender out there. It’s got us baffled.
Get him binned!
One to watch..........
4 goals and 2 assists in the space of 4 games is brilliant as was his performance against City at the weekend. Whilst Harry is out, he’s playing up front but there’s no way he’ll lose a place in the Spurs team even when Harry returns. 7% ownership at £7.6m makes him a…
Team of the Week
The top manager of the whole league this week is America’s Robert Logan. Who said the Yanks don’t know anything about football? Robert scored 71 points this week to take him to an incredible 490 points. How on Earth did he afford that midfield?
So what’s his team?
His subs were
Jakupovic, Drinkwater, Baines, Pieters
Not bad eh?

Team names please
The reason we ask for your agency name as part of your team name is because it’s the only way we can ensure that we are paying the prizes out to the correct managers and that those managers are genuinely in the recruitment industry.
With the latest hacking of our league from semi-professional FL-ers, its even more important. Please help us manage the league better by doing this.
However, those of you who aren’t putting in your team names are missing out on some great publicity for your agency and, as recruiters tend to be competitive creatures, isn’t it better to beat you rivals in business AND in the fantasy league?
“I would like to thank Tim Goodwin for doing an excellent job. Initially speaking to me when I wasn’t 100% committed to moving, he was patient and simply listened to what I wanted from my next role. Two interviews later and I'm placed. Tim proves that there is no need to overcomplicate the process. ”Futura candidate
